About us
We breed with show quality, correct structure, sound health, and the Lagotto Romagnolo breed standard in mind. Our goal is to produce dogs that are beautiful examples of the breed, with the type, temperament, and overall quality that reflect thoughtful, intentional breeding. At the same time, we recognize that most of our puppies will not be going to show homes — they will be going to loving pet homes, where they will be cherished as part of the family. Because we hold ourselves to a high standard in our breeding program, our pet puppies are often just as thoughtfully bred, structurally correct, and carefully developed as dogs many people see being marketed for show. We want our families to have a dog that is not only beautiful and healthy, but also enjoyable to live with — a medium-energy, fun, outgoing companion that can easily become part of everyday life.

I don’t have the words to describe what an amazing experience I had getting my first Lagatoo Romagnollo puppy from Kim! It was so seamless, wonderful and educational ! Working with Kim at Chicago lagotto was a wonderful experience. Kim is the epitome of a responsible and professional breeder. We had never met a lagotto before and after submitting our application and a thorough first conversation, Kim graciously had us to her home as a next step to meet a lagotto. From that point on, we were in love and the process started for us. Kim was wonderful in making sure the breed was a good match for us and that we were a good match for our future puppy. The communication was wonderful throughout the process and especially after. Kim has continued to be so gracious with all my first puppy days questions (and personal meltdowns) and not knowing what to do.
