Our Retired Lagotti

The dogs posted here have already found their forever homes, Phoebe lives with our son and his girlfriend. Bambi now lives close by and has her own little boy and girl to play with. Both were wonderful momma dogs and now living out their best lives with amazing families who spoil them rotten!

This is a great way to add a trained, well mannered older (but not old) dog to your family. Check with me to see if we will be retiring any girls in the near future.

Sophie is calm and content 80% of the time, but absolutely loves to walk and could cover 10 miles without blinking an eye. She is confident and happy, definitely a pack animal and will always be the peacemaker. We have never seen any kinds of scuffles with other dogs and when we have a newcomer to our home visiting for boarding, she is the welcome committtee, always making sure they are being looked after. She’s a role model of a dog. She’s the one who sleeps with us at night and knows how to work us when she wants something. She has stepped up to the plate when we have a sick mom that can’t take care of the puppies. She will step in and take over and raise the litter as if it’s her own. The petitiest of our girls at 16 and 24 pounds.

Phoebe (aka Absolute Roman Yodler) came to us from a great breeder in Eunice Louisiana. She is very clever and one of the most charming dogs you will ever meet. She has been competing in conformation shows and is proving to be a natural. She radiates confidence and loves attention. She recently completed her Grand Championship.
